Home Page Our Mission Why Boyscouts Contact Us Eagle Scouts Fund Raising Troop Master Troop Information

 Welcome!

Troop 358 is sponsored by the Creekwood United Methodist Church.  We are part of the Eagle Trail District of the Circle Ten council of the Boy Scouts of America. The troop was originally formed and chartered in 1970 and is comprised of young men from Allen, Fairview, Lucas, and surrounding communities.

The troop meets year-round on Monday evening (except on recognized holidays) at 7:00pm. We use the patrol method and are a boy-driven program with an active advancement program. Many new scouts earn the rank of First Class within their first year!  We schedule at least one troop activity per month with an emphasis on camping trips. The campouts are normally scheduled for the third weekend of each month. In addition, we attend a one week summer camp and high adventure program every year.

A consistent scout to uniformed leader ratio of 3:1 shows exceptional involvement and ready adult help for all of the scouts in the troop. Our Troop Committee consists of dedicated parent volunteers who believe strongly in the goals of the BSA and are focused on providing our sons with an exceptional scouting experience.

We welcome new scouts year round and are available to answer any and all questions that you may have.  Contact us today to request information, ask questions, or to come and join us for a troop meeting.
